To help us grow we have created a new role for a Regional Volunteer Program Manager in our Global Volunteer Engagement department.

In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by assisting prioritised countries to develop and launch comprehensive volunteer engagement programs aligned to global and regional standards.

  • Delivering on Cochlear’s mission and strategic priorities by enabling regions and countries to create, manage and optimize successful volunteer engagement programs
  • Working in a truly global company, headquartered in Australia, with operations in 25 countries.

  • Working cross-functionally with Candidate Marketing, Recipient Marketing, Sales and Services.

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Experience in customer engagement, marketing and/or sales environments
  • Experience working as a business/team consultant or coach with outstanding management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience working in global or multi-country roles
  • Experience working with process and process tools
  • Language skills:  fluent English (excellent speaking and written skills)
  • The ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to solve problems and collaborate to get work done that delivers benefits for Cochlear’s customers.
  • A responsible attitude to working safely and building the safety culture.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and development.


  • Experience working in Marketing and/or Customer Engagement environments
  • Experience working as a business/team consultant or coach
  • People management skills including recruitment, training, leading, coaching, planning, and reporting.
  • Experience working with process and process tools
  • 2+ years working in a regional or multi-country role specifically within the APAC region (Asia Pacific; Australia, China, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, etc.) in a strategic planning and country support role
  • Role is based within assigned geography – APAC
  • Language skills:  fluent English (excellent speaking/presentation and written skills


  • Experience working with Inside Sales functions and Volunteers
  • Process qualifications
  • Regional or global work experience
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (ideally
  • Successfully able to work and influence others in a matrix organization
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
