Clinical Support:  

•     Responsible for complete surgical / technical and clinical support to UK/Ireland Baha centres and additional centres when required

•     Provision of telephone support for clinical trouble shooting of Baha systems when required

•     Maintain and administer the Cochlear helpline when required

•     Provision of installation service for new software releases to customers

•     Provision of literature searches, presentation materials, clinical guidelines to customers

•     Assist with coordination of clinical trials as required



•     Provision of training on Baha Fitting software to new and existing customers

•     Provide regional workshops for customers where required

•     Presentations when required

•     Assist with training at UK Baha sSurgical and audiological courses

•     Train individual Baha team members on audiology


Knowledge Maintenance:  

•     Attend at least 2 Baha and Cochlear Implant CPD registered events per annum

•     Continual review of current research and competitive positioning

•     Attend and assist with meetings as required

•     Maintain and enhance professional qualifications in-line with professional body requirements

•     Undertake projects as required

•     Assist in clinical marketing together with Clinical Research Manager and Baha Product Manager


Process & Procedure:  

•     Update SalesForce database

•     Provide clinical troubleshooting when required


Team Role (Team member)

•     Follow relevant quality procedures in order to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.

•     Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables in line with the UK strategy.

•     Join regular team meetings

•     Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules and instructions; and reporting workplace hazards, incidents or injuries to manager.


Key Incumbent requirements


•   University degree: Successful completion of either the BSc in audiology or MSc in audiological science or equivalent

•    Extensive continuous post qualification audiological experience

•    Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

•    Fluent English

•    Effective information management and communication

•    Excellent presentation skills

•    Willing to travel within the UK and Ireland with occasional overseas as required



•    Postgraduate degree

•     Practical Cochlear implant /Baha/ audiological experience
