We are recruiting for a Senior IT site engineer in our IT Site Services department. In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by being the technical lead for all site related operations, procedures and projects.
More importantly you will:
- Utilise your advanced technology skills to contribute to special projects undertaken by the global infrastructure teams, provide technical leadership and mentoring to other Site Services staff, and support the Manager of the Site Services Team
- Act as the local Business Partner and work with local site management to identify local needs and devise action plans. Work with vendors to resolve technical problems with equipment and software
- Partner with the business to provide a supportive, innovative and flexible working environment, analyse business requirements and make recommendations to the Line Manager to deliver IT solutions aligned with business needs/goals,
- Provide 1st and 2nd level line support and identify possibilities to improve service
- Collaborate with the Global Service desk to deliver high level support
- Pro-actively check ticketing queue to ensure that all incidents and requests assigned to the team are addressed and meet the agreed SLA.
- Ensure that all customers are kept informed of progress in accordance to incident management process
- Provide quality service to customers through efficient incident management, request fulfilment, problem investigation and resolution tasks
- Act as technical lead for the site services team in support of a wide range of technologies employed by the team
- Occasionally contribute in a system engineering capacity to one or more technical disciplines in medium to large scale, special infrastructure projects.
