Broad content of Role:

Due to increased workload Cochlear require a temporary PL Controller for a 3 to 6 month period.  This person will assist with efficiently processing Cochlear EMEA supplier expenses and payments with appropriate reconciliation and control.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of a multi-currency ledger within a multinational payables organisation. (Oracle preferred)
  • Proactive and able to resolve issues with suppliers in respect of their invoices and payments
  • Able to ensure compliance with control policy
  • Experience of operating Bank software such as HSBCNet would be an advantage
  • Accurate with an eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills in terms of effective listening, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft packages word, Excel and outlook. With Excel at intermediate level
  • Self-starter who can speak comfortably with budget holders on Accounts Payable issues

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of invoices and expenses
  • Supplier payment management
  • Supplier Statement reconciliations
