We now have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Project Manager in our R&D department. In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by managing the design and development of implantable hearing systems from conception to market launch and support.

The Systems Project Manager will coordinate the planning and execution of these projects to ensure that the products work successfully together to meet customer and business needs and are delivered at the time required by the business.

Working in our high tech environment you will have the opportunity to shine by demonstrating your pragmatic approach to decision making as you collaborate with team members to deliver a leading-edge medical implant.

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Distinction average engineering or science degree.
  • 10 years experience in new product development.
  • 5 years experience in project management.
  • Experience with a wide variety of product development technologies and competencies.
  • End-to-end experience of delivering major new systems from concept to market.

    • Dotted line responsibility for a group of projects comprising up to thirty engineers.
