Due to product demand growth, new products pipeline and a global manufacturing footprint, the Documentation and Configuration Manager is a new role created to help support the delivery of Cochlear’s future global manufacturing network.
Reporting to the Site Setup and Support Senior Manager, this role will be accountable for:
- Leading a group of technical writers, configurators and draftsperson to deliver document change management services
- Optimisation and continuous improvement of documentation change processes and leadtime
- Exploring, planning and implementing best practise work instruction methods to optimise the effectiveness of multilingual documentation
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the team to ensure the group meets the short and long term needs of manufacturing.
