We are seeking a business analyst for our Logistics team to offer support in analytics to reduce spend ensuring a return on our investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to all functional areas of supply and the external customer or should this say “logistics and our internal and external customers”
  • Opportunities to be the lead on projects, working closely with freight providers to improve efficiencies
  • Enforce standards and content relating to logistics and planning
  • Monitoring of logistics warehouse, planning and inventory management attributes in ORACLE & SAP.
  • Supporting warehouse operations across three different sites and the ability to identify improvement opportunities within a logistics operations environment
  • Assist in reviewing Oracle functionality upgrades and patch releases for applicable functionality improvement and change
  • Retrieve the right data out of systems in use at Cochlear, use process improvement tools and drive improvement.
  • Promote knowledge of logistics and planning principles and provide user training and support

    Key Requirements for the Role:

  • Relevant qualifications in Business, APICS Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Extensive exposure to supply chain management processed within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of all key Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, Power point) and knowledge of Oracle Applications & SAP
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of process improvement techniques or lean manufacturing principles
  • Enjoy taking the lead on projects and building relationships both within the team and more broadly, ensuring the highest standards of customer service are delivered.
