We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Group Treasury function to create value through providing accurate, timely and relevant analysis on how we manage FX and cash flow in a Global environment.

As part of a small collaborative and collegiate team with a global reach, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Perform verification with external banks for FX hedging transactions that are prepared and dealt by the Treasury Manager
  • Provide instructions to Accounts Payable for the settlement of all trades
  • Ensure all inward cash and foreign currency trade settlements from banks and counterparts are received as and when expected
  • Work with Treasury Manager to ensure accurate and timely recording and reconciling all treasury transactions in the treasury management system
  • Support the Treasury Manager with ongoing management of debt facilities including payment of interest and principal as required
  • Analysis and review of debt facility contracts with lending institutions to achieve overall funding requirements for the group's activities
  • Perform monthly cash flow forecasts for the group and make recommendations on use of cash to the Treasury Manager
  • Manage monthly cashflow forecasts from the regions to determine forecast funding and advise the Treasury Manager of FX and cash requirements

Why is this role right for you?

  • You hold a degree in Finance or Accounting and are CA or CPA qualified
  • You have solid accounting skills and have a keen interest in treasury
  • You have knowledge/experience in the preparation of cash forecasts and cash flow analysis
  • Ideally you have knowledge and experience in the preparation of financial schedules under IFRS for ASX fillings including disclosures for financial instruments
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent Excel skills
