We are looking for a Head of Supply in our Supply Chain department, reporting to the Director Supply Chain.

In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by leading and managing the Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations and Supply Support department. Supply department includes around 40 people divided in three sub departments. The head of Supply will have seven direct reports where two of them are people managers. The Supply Chain department contains around 80 persons. You will have interface with several other departments within Cochlear such as Quality & Regulatory and Design & Development departments to introduce new products and manage manufacturing and internal material flow of a wide product portfolio, to meet the company’s time to market, efficiency and cost targets in a highly automated production.

We are looking for a person who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

 

  • Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing and warehouse operations in high tech industries and preferably med tech/health care related, in a global context.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver at both a strategic (long-term) level and operational (short-term) level and at the same time driving process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, managing and motivating high performing teams.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders through credible actions and effective negotiation.
  • Educated and experienced in Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish.
  • The ability to solve problems and collaborate to get work done that delivers benefits for Cochlear’s customers.
  • A responsible attitude to working safely and building the safety culture.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and development.
