We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Business Systems team at the global head quarters in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple business projects on time, within budget, scope and in accordance to the governance guidelines. The Project Manager will be work with stakeholders throughout the idea to benefits realisation cycle to deliver benefits to Cochlear in alignment with the strategy of Business Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management - Provide overall leadership and direction for specific project initiatives undertaken by the Global Business Applications area ensuring project objectives are aligned and comply with organisational goals, strategy and project objectives. This will include business case management, managing project plans, co-ordination of project activities, and following the best practice methodology.
Stakeholder Management, Communication & Change Management - Provide effective delivery of organisational change management solutions, planning change management impact, and building commitment amongst stakeholders.
Resource Management - Work with the Program Manager/Sponsor to ensure that resources are assigned to each project
Business Analysis - Define system requirements based on needs, cost and required integration with existing applications, systems, and platforms. Consult with users andIT specialists to optimize solutions. Understand and apply business analysis methodologies and approaches.
Key Requirements
Experience working in medium - large organisations in a similar role
Experience in the management and implementation of IT Applications Projects including stakeholder, project deliverables, budget and change management aspects
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project
Ability to manage multiple projects and risks
Qualification and/or knowledge in Project Management such as PMP, Prince II
Experience in managing project delivery in the Oracle eBusiness space
Degree qualified in IT, Business etc
