Warehouse Order Specialist

About the role

In order to help Cochlear support cochlear implant recipients, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Order Specialist in our Americas Head Office warehouse location in Centennial, CO.

To be successful in this role you’ll be able to ensure that all kitting operations are carried out daily to ensure product availability. You will also be responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders in receiving, picking or shipping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review min/max reports daily and execute sequencing.
  • Coordinate with Quality and the Warehouse in terms of releases and urgent product needs.
  • Create and modify work instructions / DHRs.
  • Executive kitting and labeling.
  • Receive inbound shipments and stock product, pick items from stock locations to fill customer orders, transact and ship customer orders.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation and deliver on our mission by applying your knowledge of picking and shipping operations as well as your MRP/MRP II systems experience.


Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with picking and shipping operations
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with MRP/MRP II systems in an ERP environment
  • Adept at understanding inventory control procedures
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and follow plans/projects through to completion.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be in a utilize problem solving/critical thinking skills to discern and convey information.  Must transport/move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to utilize comprehension, critical thinking, communication, problem solving, organization reasoning, relating to others and discernment of items such as product specifications, procedures and processes to customers (whether internal or external).

Target Salary Rate: $16.50/hour as well as a bonus of 4% of base salary.
