The Clinical Application Specialist role will:

•     Maintain close account with the Mexican customers and provide support for clinical and technical enquiries

•     Deliver training on selected topics such as new products

•     Support clinical research projects and ensure continuous project follow-up

•     Support troubleshooting and implant diagnostics activities within Mexico



Accountability 1: Provide technical support to audiologist group

  • Maintain high level of technical product expertise using our existing processes (constant clinical support for clinics in Mexico, programming software knowledge, all products technical information)
  • Follow up and support to professionals in complex clinical cases guided by the Clinical Manager
  • Provide clinical software installation and troubleshooting support to all clinics in Mexico
  • Create, update and follow up complaints in the region – trackwise and integrity test knowledge
  • Ensure fast response to all issues and necessities from customers – surgeons, audiologists and recipients to increase our market share and market growth


Accountability 2: “Academia Cochlear” leadership

  • Annual course organization for the Mexico Audiologists – presentation skills

 Accountability 3: Continued training program 

  • Audiologists and Surgeon Certification program organization for Mexico, train new professionals to increase our implantable solution knowledge in the region
  • Microlearning program “Clases Magistrales Cochlear & Conversatorios Cochlear”

Key Incumbent requirements:


  • Doctor Audiologist with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in programming and candidacy
  • Customer relationship experience
  • Training experience
  • Experience in conducting clinical research projects and GCP is a plus



  • Fluent in Spanish, proficiency in English is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Self-managed and results orientated
  • Customer Focused
  • Ability to travel within predominantly Mexico as well as Latin America (approx. 30-40% of time)

Region-specific Requirements:

  • Must be a doctor specialist in Audiology, based in Mexico City, this role cannot be performed by a Speech Therapist or Fonoaudiologist.
