The Executive Assistant to Chief Financial Officer provides high-level executive administrative assistance to the CFO to support the delivery the Cochlear mission, Finance & Legal strategic initiatives, and One Cochlear agenda. Play a pivotal role in assisting the CFO in managing internal and external stakeholders, the Cochlear Executive Team and drive operational efficiency and effectiveness for the office of the CFO.

Responsibilities include- 

  • Executive Administration Management 
  • Coordinate Finance meetings, with agenda, chairperson, minutes and follow up actions including All Hands Finance, Sydney and global FLTs Risk & Audit Committee and Investor Relations Support
  • Support the CFO in managing requests and associated documentation by ensuring availability of information, checking for accuracy to facilitate approvals.
  • Manage and support the two Finance & Legal Team Assistants including oversight of day-to-day activities, balancing workload between these roles, quarterly MPP goal setting and review and ensuring critical skill coverage

Minimum:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of executive and administrative support at a similar executive management level with senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under limited direction
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence.
  • Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues with a high level of tact, discretion, diplomacy, and judgement.
  • Demonstrated experience in the recruitment and mentoring of key administrative personnel
