About the role

As Cochlear continues to grow and service our customers, we are recruiting for a Director, Cochlear Hearing Centers in our Americas region.  This role can be a remote role, or office-based out of our Regional head office in Lone Tree, CO.

In alignment with our organizational principle of providing a safe work environment, employees of Cochlear are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Director of the Cochlear Hearing Centers is responsible for ensuring successful day-to-day clinical operations and delivery of clinical services across the sites. You’ll work collaboratively with key partners in the community to create a collaborative approach to the chronic care management of hearing loss inclusive of cochlear implants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration Leadership: Oversight of all clinical care delivery and operations across Cochlear Hearing Center sites that ensures an excellent patient and clinician experience.
  • Research Leadership: Oversight of pilot programs, clinical studies and related evidence development executed in the Cochlear Hearing Centers.
  • People Leadership: Build an effective team dedicated to providing an outstanding patient experience.
  • Evidence Management and Reporting: Define, collect and report performance measures for clinical and research program.
  • Thought Leadership: Define plan to publish, present and communicate evidence on standards of care to accelerate action on hearing health care.

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

 

  • PhD/Au. D
  • 15+ years of experience managing hearing health clinics inclusive of audiological services and hearing implants.
  • Experience in management of reimbursement for clinical practice, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance, explanation of benefits, contracts and related economics.
  • Experience in management of clinical operations.
  • Experience managing research projects, studies, and integration in to clinical practice and reporting, publishing and presenting results.

The work environment is a home/office environment and clinical/hospital environment and are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

In addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.  The Target Salary Range for this role is $190,000 - $210,000 per  year based upon experience, as well as a bonus of 20% of base salary.
