We are looking for a Process Engineering Manager to join our Process Engineering Team at the Cochlear Gothenburg Site. This is a role where your most important mission is to lead and develop the Process Engineering team of seven employees at our site in Mölnlycke. It is important that you involve, motivate, and make your team grow so that you, through them, can reach the company's targets.

The role is all about developing engineering expertise within Cochlear and thereby improving current processes and providing insight to enable the development of future products to be innovative, safe and competitive, you will lead the delivery of project deliverables related to manufacturing process development from idea to transfer to production and the team to design and deliver new product equipment, improvements and tools to ensure production issues and costs are minimized while ensuring products meet quality standards

You will be working cross-functionally and collaborating extensively with our Global Manufacturing sites and other departments. We believe working together is how we will succeed.

You will be accountable for the Technology Roadmap for Manufacturing Processes, so the role requires you to seek input from the process engineering team and stakeholders to develop the roadmap.

  • Engineering Degree (or comparable qualification)
  • Leadership experience, for example from leading a team or project
  • Experience from driving continuous success and developing teams to be the best they can be.
  • Strong product and manufacturing development background - preferably medical devices, mechanical or electrical
  • Experience from development of manufacturing processes
  • Experience in GMP, DFA, LEAN manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • You are comfortable speaking and writing in English at a professional level (Swedish is ideal but not essential)
  • You can feel proud that the work you do helps more people around the world to hear again and live full lives.
