We are seeking a Technical Project Manager, if you feel that you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role and take on new challenges to build your career with Cochlear.

 

In this role you will be expected to handle complex, technically orientated projects such as those caused by major regulation changes.

The ideal candidate must be able to network across business and functions between corporate and EMEA, and be able to absorb and navigate complexity, technical details, and external guidance and advice. 

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Project Management and Execution
  • Adhere to Project Management methodology and approach
  • Supporting the Business
  • Project Management Community

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level through experience in engineering, business, or technical role.
  • Formal Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience (Waterfall or Agile)
  • Experience in running cross-functional projects on time, budget, and quality.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar tool.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively with and through others at all levels in the organisation. 
  • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation skills.
  • Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills. 
  • Solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process. 
  • Understanding of Lean six sigma
