The Senior Manager - Connected Care, APAC is critical in leading and shaping Cochlear’s connected care strategy and for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, taking into the account the diversity of the markets and supporting infrastructure, and growing utilization. This role is also pivotal in leading the deployment and growth of major Connected Care launches as well as commercializing and total product lifecycle management of Cochlear’s Clinical Care Portfolio, including programming software (Customer Sound & NFS), Wireless & Remote Programming, Apps and Surgical tools.

 

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Connected Care Go-To-Market Strategy & Deployment, partnering with key stakeholders in country, region and global teams, this role will take a leadership position in shaping and driving the connected care market for APAC
  • Connected Care Commercialization & Product Management, introduce new products to the market in accordance with the New Product Introduction (NPI) procedure, quickly and effectively throughout the Asia Pacific region
  • Customer insights & development, lead a commercial and customer-centric approach to the Connected Care strategy
  • People management, demonstrate active involvement in the implementation and improvement of relevant quality procedures. Attract, develop and retain the best team to deliver Cochlear’s current and future business objectives

  

About You

As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. As a regulated company, Cochlear has a responsibility to hire people with the right skills and qualifications to do the work. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Minimum:

  • Graduate qualifications in business, engineering, science or marketing coupled with a minimum of 5 years of product management, marketing or commercial leadership experience
  • Experience in practical audiology and/or knowledge of Cochlear's products (is advantageous)
  • People management experience and demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20% of time)

 

Ideal:

  • 5-10 years of product management/marketing experience preferably in life science industry/medical devices
  • Asia-Pacific regional experience
  • Strong experience working within a diverse, cross-functional, matrix environment and diverse stakeholders in complex/ambiguous projects
  • People leadership experience in building impactful relationships across multiple functions, geographies, cultures
  • Proven success in driving adoption and change in product, technology and/or clinical practices
