About the role
In order to help Cochlear continue to grow and service our customers, we are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in our Americas head office based in Lone Tree, CO. This role offers a hybrid work environment with a combination of in-office and remote work from home.

To be successful in this role you’ll be able to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation by applying your knowledge of leading large, enterprise wide strategic projects through the successful execution of leading projects with command and integrity. You’ll work collaboratively with all internal departments within the business as well as our global partners to deliver optimal solutions to continuously improve and enhance operations, systems, and offerings to our customers. This senior project management role is responsible for leading high-visibility, complex projects through to successful completion.
- Lead large, complex projects aligning with organization’s strategic initiatives
- Manage change and communications for impacted project stakeholders
- Coach, mentor and motivate project team members
To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, project management, information systems or other related field.
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience: 6+ years of expanding project management experience; with 3+ years of experience in leading business and technical projects.
- Project Ownership: Must have experience reporting project lifecycle to and directly engaging with the Executive Team.
- Command: Demonstrated ability to influence others even when not in a position of authority.
- Communication: Established strong and dynamic communication skills
Physical & Mental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to be in a stationary (seated/standing) position; utilize business technology for work product delivery, communicate orally and in writing with others internal or external to the organization, utilize problem solving/critical thinking skills to discern and convey information.
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to utilize comprehension, critical thinking, communication, problem solving, organization reasoning, relating to others and discernment of items such as product specifications, procedures and processes to customers (whether internal or external). Influence, organization/classification of information and planning are also required.
The work environment is an office environment, minimal home office environment, and are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
