Cochlear is looking to hire a Firmware Engineer to be a part of Cochlear’s Product Development Firmware team. In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of firmware for Cochlear products and technologies. Based in Sydney, you will have the opportunity to make a direct contribution to the direction and strategies of the Embedded Software teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing embedded software for our latest and up-coming innovative products using C.
- Working in a cross-functional team to develop novel designs for new features to bring to our customers.
- Implementing unit and system tests using C and Python for the purpose of verification against requirements.
- Following all applicable development processes and methodologies.
As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- University degree in electronics or computer engineering or similar.
- Skilled with cross-functional thinking and problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience programming in C and Python programming language is ideal, but not essetntial
