The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the Cochlear Latin America (CLASA) Cochlear Implant (CI) Systems product portfolio in growing the business by planning and managing the introduction and lifecycle of Cochlear’s Sound Processors, Connectivity and Implants products in the CLASA region, as well as supporting the team on other growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the portfolio by collaborating with global marketing, CLA cross-functional teams of regulatory, supply chain, marketing communications, clinical education and country marketing teams
- Plan and execute product launches and campaigns
- Manage the production of materials and other launch deliverables (including packaging and configurations)

- Assist and manage marketing campaigns (product focus or awareness campaign) to drive growth in CI systems and upgrades
- Work with the business operations team to create and maintain product configuration records, order forms and new product announcements.
- Understand the market needs and implement a plan based on their trends, needs, segment to support growth for specific products and services.
- Develop recommendations for new product opportunities and concepts – internally and externally sourced - based on recipient, clinical, and field input
- Elaborate and distribute effective communications to the team, field, and distributor’s team
- Deliver intelligence reports and internal and external communications
- Extract and analyze data on the CI portfolio and present the data in a way that provides useful insights and actions that can be used to assist with strategy development.
- Serve as the technical and commercial expert for all aspects related to the portfolio.
- Assess training needs / requirements in the markets and partner with the Clinical / Technical teams to ensure effective delivery to all relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure proper training and acquire knowledge of different cross functional areas.
- Become an ambassador of the Cochlear™ brand and policies.
- Pursue continuous product and service knowledge. •
- Work closely with all regional managers, product managers, global piers, customer service, operations, finance, and clinical teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate qualifications in marketing, business, science or engineering related degree.
- Postgraduate qualifications in business, marketing or management; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on product management or revenue generating projects / services management; (preferably in pharmaceuticals / life science industry / medical devices is advantageous, but not essential).
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
- Analytical skills to translate facts and figures into growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese (desirable)
