About the role

As Cochlear continues to grow and service our customers, we are recruiting for a Talent Development Coordinator

in our Americas head office based in Lone Tree, CO. This role offers a hybrid work environment with a combination of in-office and remote work from home.

In alignment with our organizational principle of providing a safe work environment, employees of Cochlear are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. To be successful in this role you’ll be able to assure the appropriate logistics support is provided to the Talent Development team to execute on training initiatives. This position will assist with the day-to-day training preparation needs of the team as well as supporting the ongoing needs of training classes as they progress. You will also manage facilitation for Cochlear’s monthly new hire orientation. Responsibilities include training room coordination, sending program invites, logging sessions in LMS (Cochlear Academy), prepping program activities, and compiling training reports to ensure training records are properly tracked and facilitation. This position requires strong organization skills, technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong computer skills (preferably in Microsoft Suite)
  • Proficient experience utilizing common office resources (phone, copier, email)
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and balance manage multiple, changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Follows through on commitments, meets deadlines, takes responsibility for actions and shows consistency between words and actions
  • In role related tasks, identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and positively in a team environment to build strong, professional relationships.                                                                        

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors or Equivalent Work Experience with 1 Year of Experience or High School Diploma or GED with 4+ Years of Experience                                                                                              
  • Experience in office administration, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail               
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in responding to inquiries from team members, learners, and business partners; understands when appropriate to escalate inquiries for further assistance                       

Able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and requests simultaneously
