We are seeking a professional Clinical Technical Specialist (m/f/d)  

 

About the opportunity:

The role of the Clinical Technical Specialist (m/f/d) is to provide full support to cochlear implant centres across the UK/Ireland in all audiological and technical areas whilst working closely with regional Business Managers. This role involves supporting the development of training content and delivery for all audiological and technical requirements across the cochlear implant portfolio.

  • Responsible for providing expert audiological and technical support to UK/Ireland cochlear implanting centres and additional centres when required
  • Provision of telephone support for clinical trouble shooting of full cochlear implant product portfolios
  • Provision of implant, integrity testing and report findings
  • Cochlear Implant specific electrophysiological testing such as NRT and eABRS
  • Provide clinical troubleshooting / MAP programming either in person or remotely where applicable
  • Responsible for the creation and provision of training on full cochlear implant product portfolio, including fitting software, to both new and existing customers
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of audiological training at UK/Ireland Audiological and Surgical courses
  • Provide support on literature searches, presentation materials, guidelines and other customer requests
  • Attend and assist with conferences and meetings as required

 

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree: successful completion of either BSc in Audiology, MSc in audiological science, or equivalent
  • Practical cochlear implant experience, for at least 2 years
  • Extensive continuous post qualification audiological experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, as well as presentation and time management skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office platform
  • Business conversational in English
  • Versatility and flexibility to support the customer and the business needs
  • Willing to travel extensively within territory, including weekend work when required
  • You will be working in your own region and also from home office, so if you are situated in the Midlands or the North of England that would be ideal, however, if you live elsewhere you would need to be willing to travel
